I’ve never been a fan of Batman character and his story. My thoughts were immediately changed after watching THE DARK KNIGHT directed by Christopher Nolan who is and was at that time one of my favorite filmmakers. What intrigued me about THE DARK KNIGHT was (a) Christopher Nolan attached as the director (b) Heath Ledger’s suddent death and his performance.

I ignored, BATMAN BEGINS, for I was not a fan of Batman at all. I waited for Nolan to direct something totally different. Anyways, after watching THE DARK KNIGHT, I felt like I was baptized. I fell in love with Bruce Wayne’s story. Very realistic and no cliche. An ordinary man trying to make a difference. Then after THE DARK KNIGHT, I got my hands on BATMAN BEGINS which is also directed by Christopher Nolan. I was properly introduced to the character of Batman and Bruce Wayne.

This is a very interesting article and thanks to Zillionarts for publishing and sharing these classic covers. I am sure other batman crazy fanatics are going ga-ga. I am looking forward to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES which is Nolan’s final batman film.
